1. Raag Shivranjani uses only 5 notes in ascending and descending order and ‘g’ is Komal (flat) and M and N are not used.

2. It’s Vadi Swar is ‘P’ and Samvadi ‘S’ and time of playing and singing is midnight.

3. It is a Slow composition therefore set your Tabla at a slow speed. The composition (Gat) starts from 12th beat. Remember X (the sum) is the first beat.

4. Pluck Da & Ra alternate. When Da & Ra are played together, it becomes Dir.
