1. You need to practice basic notes on Sitar by practicing Alankars. In this lesson you will practice two more Alankars as given on left.
2. A dash ‘-‘ after a note means a gap equivalent to one beat.
3. Pluck Da & Ra alternately.

5. A dot after the note shows higher octave
6. A dot before the note will show lower octave.
7. Practice enough to play notes on Sitar clearly.
Note: In the photo position of Dha is as shown by the arrow. The fret is at the komal Dha (d) position which should be moved down.
