- Raag Jog uses 5 notes both in ascending and descending order. In this raag both Ga Suddha (normal) and ga Komal (flat) are used in a special way and ni is komal (flat) in ascending and descending both.
- It's time of playing is second period of night (9/10pm to 12night/1am). Its Vadi swar is Ma and Samvadi is Sa.
