PARITOSH
POHANKAR
Paritosh Pohankar is a young Indian Classical
Vocalist. He was initially groomed into the classical tradition by Shri
Goswami Gokulotsavji Maharaj of Indore.He was a scholar in residence at the
Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata.
Kirana Gharana stalwart Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan & Ustad
Mubarak Ali Khan were his mentors at the Academy.
Endowed with a matured and sonorous voice, this young
artist wants to create his own distinct style of singing. His efforts, training
& dedication combine with his humility and sincerity.
His performances in numerous music festivals and concerts
have been are appreciated by worldwide audiences.

Kishor played tabla since the tender age of three. By the
time he was five the budding artist had performed his first solo performance at
Nagpur preceding the performance of Ustad Zakir Hussain and Kishori Amonkar.
He is a disciple of Taalyogi Pt.Suresh Talwalkar &
Pt.Anindo Chatterjee.
Kishor is a talented and sensitive artist. He is adept at
performing solo and is considered as a sensitive accompanying artist
Ustad Shahid Parvez, Pt.Jasraj, Brijbhushan Kabra, Ustad
Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Late Shobha Gurtu and Ustad Rashid Khan are some of the
artists he has accompanied.
He has his roots in India and has also taken his art to
Russia & Germany
SANGEET MISHRA
Sangeet was born into a family of musicians. His Guru is
his father Pt.Santosh Kumar Mishra of Banares Gharana. The vigorous
training with his father has fast tracked his talent. His talent and expert
handling of the Sarangi have made him a popular accompanying artist. When he
performs solo, his wide range is expressed. Solo and Jugalbandi performances in
India, Japan & Germany have been well appreciated.
Pt.Anindo Chatterjee, Ustad Zakir Husaain, Pt Chhanulal
Mishra, Pt.L.K.Pandit, Rita Ganguly are some of the maestros he has accompanied
