Well Known Urdu Poet

Born in Ludhiana, lived mostly in Faridabad before migrating to Australia. Currently living in Sydney.

Still creatively busy and has published two Urdu poetry collections since coming to Australia.

First anthology of Urdu poetry was published when he was only 13 years old.

Equally at home in poetry, short story writing and one-act plays.

Writes in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi

Has published five Urdu poetry collections, four of short stories; one each of Hindi poetry and short stories and

An anthology of one-act plays in Urdu.

Has been awarded by Urdu academies of U.P., Haryana and Punjab and West Bengal.

Also recipient of Rajendra Singh Bedi and Khwaja Ahmed Abbas awards as well as Nishan-e-Urdu from Urdu Society of Australia
